The Productive Environment Process™

First, we'll use our Productivity Scorecard™ to create a benchmark for where you are now and to identify what you want to accomplish with our work together.

Next, in order to ensure that our services meet your specific needs, we'll apply our Five-Step Productive Environment Process™:

We'll schedule a free telephone consultation to discuss the following three points:

1. Design your vision - What will your Productive Environment look and feel like?
2. Eliminate your obstacles - What's preventing you from having a Productive Environment now?
3. Commit your resources -What resources are you willing to invest to create your Productive Environment
After your free consultation:
4. Create your SYSTEM- We will provide you with a Productive Environment GamePlan™ which will include recommended services and/or do-it-yourself strategies.
5. Maintain your success-Maintain your Productive Environment by doing the following:
  • Implement Your Productive Environment GamePlan™
  • Sign up for the Primo Solutions Newsletter
  • Join Primo Solutions on Facebook and Follow Us on Twitter
  • Attend Primo Solutions's Speeches & Workshops Whenever Possible
  • Schedule Regular Productivity Tune-Ups™

Notice the common word in all five steps is “your” – this organizing process is all about individual preferences, as well as the needs of your organization or family.

In our work together, we'll apply Productive Environment Principles™ developed over the past 30 years, including:

  • The Art of Wastebasketry®
  • Clutter is Postponed Decisions®
  • The File-Act-Toss System™
  • Today's Mail is Tomorrow's Pile™
  • Hemphill's Principle: "If you don't know you have it, or can't find it, it is of no value to you."

Productive Environment Audit and GamePlan™

A Productive Environment is an intentional setting in which everything around you supports who you are and who you want to be.

The Purpose

The purpose of the Productive Environment Audit is to specifically identify the outcome you desire from our work together, and to develop a Productive Environment GamePlan™ for reaching that outcome.

The Process

The first step is to have a discussion about Steps 1-3 in the Productive Environment Process:

  1. Design your vision
  2. Eliminate your obstacles
  3. Commit your resources

We will use the Productivity Scorecard as a benchmark so we can measure your progress.

The Payoff

We will use the information gathered from our discussion to prepare a written Productive Environment GamePlan™ which will address Steps 4-5 in the Productive Environment Process:

  1. Create your SYSTEM (Saving You Space Time Energy & Money)
  2. Maintain your success

The Productive Environment GamePlan™ will outline step-by-step actions recommended to reach your established goals and vision.  We will recommend the services that we can work on together if you desire, or refer you to specific resources for a do-it-yourself project.

The 8-Hour Miracle™

An “Organizing Intervention” for Managing Your Time, Space, and Information

The Purpose

The purpose of The 8-Hour Miracle™ is to assist you in creating a “Productive Environment” in your office – an “intentional setting” in which everything around you supports who you are, and who you want to be.  We will establish a SYSTEM™ (Saving You Space Time Energy & Money!) which you will be able to maintain long after our work together is over. As a result, you can accomplish your work and enjoy your life!

The Process

We will use the Productivity Scorecard™ as a benchmark in order to measure the success of our work together. Prior to our session, we will arrange for the set up of your iPEP (interactive Productive Environment Platform).

We will send you a list of the office supplies you will need. You may purchase them, or we will bring them and bill you for them at our cost.

You are welcome to have an administrative assistant, family member, or friend participate in this process.

We begin The 8-Hour Miracle™ by filing the most important papers in your office – the ones you keep on your desk so you won’t forget them! This will be a “hands-on” process to create personalized systems for management of your time, space and information based on Productive Environment Principles™ including:

  • The Art of Wastebasketry®
  • Today’s Mail is Tomorrow’s Pile
  • Clutter is Postponed Decisions®
  • The File-Act-Toss System™
  • Hemphill's Principle: If you don't know you have it, or you can't find it, it is of no value to you.

Together we will decide which papers you can comfortably toss, and then you will tell us about the papers you want to keep while we enter keywords into your iPEP so you, or anyone else, can find anything we file--online and off--with one keyword search! After we have filed the papers on the desk, we will move to the floor. (Isn’t that where you put the things on your desk you didn’t get to — but are afraid to put away?) Once the desk and floor are clean, we tackle the file drawers, completing as much as possible during our scheduled time together.  Note: We can break this process into shorter segments based on your schedule.

The Payoff

At the end of The 8-Hour Miracle! ™, we guarantee three things:

  1. You will know what to do with every new piece of paper or information that comes into your office.
  2. You (and anyone else in your office) can find anything we filed--online and off--with one keyword search.
  3. You will have a Productive Environment Gameplan™ for any papers or files we didn’t get converted into the new SYSTEM during our work together.

As a result, your office will be a role model for a “Productive Environment,” and you will be in a position to demonstrate the true leadership in your organization. In addition, this SYSTEM will enable you to spend more time nurturing relationships with existing customers, prospects, friends and family.

All of our products and services are 100% guaranteed.

We will establish a SYSTEM™ (Saving You Space Time Energy & Money!) which you will be able to maintain long after our work together is over. Productive Environment Day™

Ask 100 people the question, “If you had the time, are there papers, files, magazines, media, equipment, or other items in your office you could comfortably get rid of?” In our experience, at least 99 of them would answer “Yes!”

The Purpose

The purpose of a Productive Environment Day is to give your employees the time, the permission, and the resources to effectively eliminate anything from their office which can be tossed/recycled/shredded – or should be relocated to another person, office, or location – and to eliminate the necessity of keeping and/or moving anything that is not necessary to the organization.

The Process

We will provide a checklist of the 18 essential ingredients for a successful event. We will work with your staff to customize promotional materials to educate employees about the upcoming opportunity, and to assist them during the event.

Prior to the event, we will provide a seminar entitled “The Art of Wastebasketry®: Sometimes It Takes An Expert to Take Out the Trash.” This seminar will incorporate company guidelines for participants about how to decide what they should eliminate from their office. (Note: Our philosophy is “If in doubt, keep it!” – so you don’t need to worry about people throwing away what should be kept!)

On the day of the event, we will circulate among staff to address specific issues and to implement the Productive Environment Day plan outlined in the 18-step checklist.

The Pay-Off

The pay-off for this event will include:

  • Reduced need for space and equipment for storage of unused information;
  • Time for employees to implement the records retention policies that exist;
  • Identification of records management issues which should be addressed for legal reasons;
  • Increased ability of employees to find what they need prior to and following the move;
  • An office that accurately reflects the high quality of service your organization offers.

Family Manager Coaching

As a Certified Family Manager TM Coach, I can help people simplify their life and create a happy, organized home.  I can also teach them how to involve their family in the process.

They family manager system provides personal coaching based on the exclusive Family Manager Assessment.  This tool helps family managers assess their strengths and weaknesses in the seven departments of running a home, and then offers solutions and coaching services to help family managers reach their goals.  I am also able to provide small group studies, Family Manager Dinners, and recommend products that help people achieve their goals.

The steps in the family management system are easy!

1.  Contact me and sign up for your Family Manager Makeover.

2.  Fill out your pre-assessment questionnaire.

3.  Schedule a 1 to 1 ½ hour assessment appointment where we will walk through your home together and make notes on your strengths and areas that you want to improve in your role as family manager.

4.  Schedule the Family Makeover Plan Report appointment where we will go over solutions listed in your action plan and answer any questions that you may have.

5.  Schedule ongoing coaching or organizing sessions as needed.

6.  You will then be asked to fill out an evaluation of your experience.

7.  You will have lifetime support from me, your coach, as well as resources such as the book “The Busy Mom’s Guide” by America’s Family Manager, Kathy Peel.
